Due to our increased project workload, we are now looking for an Estimator with prior M&E and fit-out experience to support us in handling and processing the tender, quotations, and preliminaries of future projects.
Based in Altrincham, you will be essential in supporting our Contracts team. The ideal candidate is someone who has had previous experience in the healthcare and fit-out industries.

Our ideal Estimator is someone who is:

What you will be doing:
- Supporting the Business Development Director and their team with the tendering process through accurate estimations.
- Obtain quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors within a specified time frame
- Take accountability for the estimation of projects for MIG i.e. tendering & estimates that are approved by the Contracts Coordinator and/or Directors.
- Compile M&E building service package estimates which include: HVAC, electrical, medical gas, and domestic water systems
- Prepare detailed take-off and measurements from tender drawings & specification for the fit-out, including (and not limited to) flooring, walls, ceilings, furniture, and more
- Create documentation from quote systems, create tender documents, and analyse plans & specifications
- Prepare tenders, from acceptance of enquiry through to final submission
- Carry out take-offs of materials from drawings, and inputting into estimates to generate bills of quantities.
- Manage and deliver the estimating process with accuracy and precision.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience working in the construction M&E industry or similar sectors
- Strong skill working with Excel or estimation software
- Experienced in the estimation of fit-out and M&E projects
