Services - Traditional Construction
In some instances traditional construction of plasterboard on metal studding provides the quickest and most cost effective solution. This is particularly relevant on projects with a short design and manufacturing lead time.
In this instance MIG will adopt this method, constructing the walls and ceiling from fibre re-enforced gypsum board, covered with PVC cladding. The joints between the wall and ceiling cladding and the floor are fully welded to provide a continuous sealed surface.
The surface cladding is flexible, durable and stain resistant. It can also be easily repaired if damage occurs, or if the necessity arises to modify the construction at a later date.
Then main advantage of this system is work can commence on site as soon as the design is complete, eliminating the manufacturing lead time required for pre-fabricated solutions.
The system also lends itself to work within existing buildings, where it is frequently necessary to tailor the construction around inherent obstacles.
