This is very apparent in the more specialised areas of the hospital, operating theatres, critical care departments, pharmacies, diagnostic departments and laboratories.
In these departments the need for engineering services to precise standards, durable sterile finishes and the integration of sophisticated medical equipment put considerable pressure on the project team.
